I am happy to have checked out this product. I do think the cost of it should be lowered, however. For me, personally, the scores can be found online free of copyright and the scale/chord/arpeggio suggestions are too basic or obvious for someone at this advanced level (Level 7). I would say that the practice plan is a good system to follow, although I won't follow it because I have devised a better way which I personalized from my strengths/weaknesses as well as other free tutorials online for one of these pieces. I think it's more like a $10-15 value or needs to have some additional exercises included that focus on the inherent difficulties. For example, memorization of the melody skeleton playing octaves, which I found from another website. Even though this wasn't exactly right for me, I like the whole idea and hope the creator has success in building her business!
Thank you so much for this honest review! I've been thinking a lot about what you've said and am working hard to make this and other practice plans more robust and helpful to the player. I've added several pages of practical tips and historical context to all of my practice plans, and will continue working to make them better and better. Thanks again for your kind words, and I wish you the best in your musical endeavors!
